The View

After one week of visit at Shanghai, PRC (People Republic of China), I am blessed and did learned a lot from China. How Chinese make business and how they can become so successful in global trading. Also, some interesting facts of Shanghai.

The Economy Engine
Being the most advanced city of the country, Shanghai is where the world eyes on. They have the biggest GUCCI store in Asia at Nan Jing Road, the world's tallest finance centre - 上海环球金融中心, and lots more. Shanghai is also known as the eastern Paris. Basically Shanghai is a city where it generates the economy of the whole country, and it is also the main income of China's revenue.

The Bargain
Shopping experience is rated at 3.5/5. First, you can bargain at most of the local shops in any part of Shanghai just like any typical China's city. Second, various brands are available in Shanghai and there are even more local brands which offer unique design and style. For me, I bought a number of shirts and shoes. Not to deny, they all are imitation of Lacoste, Paul Smith, Crocs and Ralph Lauren. Taking example, a fellow tried to sell me a Lacoste at an original price of 100RMB(Ren Min Bi), but I had slashed the price to 45RMB. It's kinda cheap right? My biggest victory is a pair of Crocs enclosed shoes, which it was selling at 180RMB per pair, and I was managed to grab two at only 100RMB. Simply means I slashed from 360RMB to 100RMB. More than 70% striped down of the price. Place to shop is not as much as in Hong Kong or Thailand, that's why the rating comes down 1.5.

The People & The Crowd
If you think queuing up to grab an iPhone is long and exhausting, because you have not yet visit Shanghai EXPO. Let me tell you, news saying the queue of up to 8 hours seems to be a long queue and we might feel shocked abstractly. But you will never know how tiring and exhausting it is if you never queue up yourself. Personally, I queue up 3 hours for United Kingdom pavilion but seriously I do not think it worth. It is all about seeds inside the pavilion but nothing more. But I feel proud when entering Malaysia pavilion where I can get through immediately as I am the VIP. In expo, you will be treated as a VIP if your nationality belongs to the pavilion that you are going to visit.

The Courtesy
This is terrible. As I was paying my visit to the Oriental Pearl Tower on the second last day of my trip. The queue was long as usual, but the courtesy of the locals is very very terrible. They try to push, anyhow push those who are in front of them. They just do not give a damn knowing that it was already very squeeze. I happened to witness a very epic scene, where a kid was pushed and fell down in the middle of crowd. You know what the locals did? They continued to move forward and the kid experienced some stepping on him before he managed to get up. Now I understand the news why there were people died in the crowd, because they have been stepped over and the people just do not care!

p/s: I know days are difficult and you might stressed out and feel like turning back
I admit I am not Einstein and not a physician
Biology is sometimes a way wiser route for me
But I know they are Science and are always related somehow
Hardwork will make miracle happens
I am always here to be with you
And to share with you
Cheers
You always look better with a smile
