This is the first time when friend from Kuching sleep over at my place during my study here
It is Ling Tchii
A friend that walks nearest to the path I have taken
Life aint's easy though

We went to Jurong Bird Park this afternoon
Then to Orchard
Where I worked very hard to get a water bottle
Finally we ended up in Starbucks
-
We are not keen to bring it down
But the actual fact forces us to work reversely
Bit by bit
Little by little
How much we learn
Is how much the glory will be
Before the dark story revealed
When the scorching sun was still glowing our spirit
We were pulled down
By such a strenuous strength
Where the cut is deep
Where the heart is broken into thousand piece
Where the scar might be permanent
Sometimes I do cry
Silently in my heart

ATM VS Adidas

Very quickly after IT Fair which was held last two weeks
Now NYP is bringing us another bargain sale
Sports Fair!
Hurray! Woo~Hoo~

I went to visit the booths with my classmates
The sports stuff are OMG cheap
I went to a Adidas Booth and I fall in love with one pair of running shoes
So I decided to buy it
And...Here was where the story started...
-
Because I have no enough cash with me
I went to second floor ATM to withdraw some quick cash
I entered my card, keyed in my PIN number, selected amount of cash to be withdrew
Without notice, the screen suddenly showed me
"Your card has been retained. ..."
RETAINED?!
I immediately phoned up to POSB
The officer asked me to go to any POSB branch together with my IC
They will be able to reissue me another ATM card on the spot with immediate effect
Flashing through my mind,
POSB @ Ang Mo Kio will be the nearest to me
I quickly ran down to the MRT station and took one stop to Ang Mo Kio
Five minutes gone
When I reached, I rushed like hell to the streets behind AMK Hub
Another five minutes
I got sense of relief when I finally entered the well furnished and air-conditioned POSB office
A friendly officer approached me and asked for my IC
After telling him the whole bla story of my ATM card
He asked me to wait for counter two to be cleared before I can proceed
In less than one minute time
My name was called
(Actually it was quite embarrassing for my name to be called up in a bank)
After been asked series of questions as if I was a fugitive
I am finally "released" by a whole new ATM card
I spent around ten minutes in bank
Here it is
Using the same route, I rushed back to NYP again
The whole process took me half an hour man!
It was 4pm that time
And the sale ended at 4.30pm
Hallelujah, I just made it in time!
After withdrawing some quick cash using my new ATM card
I grabbed my Adidas
Here it is

The shoes were originally over hundred dollars
But with more than 45% price chopped down
I managed to grab it at a price of $60.60
(Beautiful figure though)
The reason why I longing for a pair of running sport shoes
Because I go to gym alternately three times a week
So today I went to gym with a proper running sport shoes
I ran-walked for around 50 minutes this evening
Followed by circuit zone, doing some weight lifting

A Special Day

I am officially eighteen today
It means it's time for legality to take over
Meaning to say I can do kind of stuff which I am banned before

But staying alone overseas with no family around
It is really touched to have...

Fifth Week

Fifth week
Time flies
It really does
Completed some of the grading assignments
Attended some of my favourite CCAs
Making friends from all over the world
Started to get trustworthy friends where thoughts are share among
Such a cute city
In such a small country
Where determined will stands
Not falter by slashing condemn
Not get down by cruel mock
Although size matters
But they work reversely
Because they believe in faith
After a few decades of long run
Finally the fact proves
Singapore is one of the world's economy leader

Communication Skill requires us to do
A two minutes presentation about special factor of ourself
So I quickly glanced through my personal album

I rehearsed several times but I just overtime every time

The Little Gourmet

People, you might like to know what I usually eat here? Alright, basically my school have four canteens all together. But usually I go to South Canteen because it is near to me and the food is so awesome at an unbeatable price! XD But as you know, food outside is always added with artificial flavouring and colouring which is not vital for health. That is why sometimes I taste my auntie's home cook cuisine or rather I cook myself! For people know me for ages, you know I like Japanese food very very much! And here it is - Udon Mee~

(This is a 200 x 3 packs Fresh Udon you can easily grab from NTUC Fair Price. The udon is like hell nice and you can easily turn it into a delicious dish *grup~swallowing saliva*)

And it was so delicious)

(Okay, I have fresh milk, fresh milks and a lot of fresh milks in the fridge! Lovely isn't it? I prefer Fernleaf but I just cannot find it elsewhere =( You know why I like Fernleaf right?)

Basically I find myself being healthier than the time when I was in Kuching.
I mean in term of taking meal and so on.
Because Singapore is a trading hub in Asia, that is why a lot of food are being imported here.
Because of that, I have more variety of dishes to select and of course,
We all love healthy food
Ain't we?

Love My Body As The Shop Does

I have nothing better to do other than hanging up
How nice will it be if you can even meet up with your friend

When you are actually studying or staying abroad
What more to say a classmate before
I have my occasion meet up with Tchii at Dhoby Ghaut this afternoon (Singapore Plaza)
This was the second time we were here to have movie
We had "Iron Man 2" just as planned
Soon
Our attention was quickly drew by The Body Shop out-of-store sale
On the first floor if I was not mistaken
They are having some half price chopped down on certain items
Very delightful my tea tree range is included
I grabbed three bottles of tea tree cleanse
One bottle of Olive oil shower gel
($5 only, cheap right?)
Tchii did grabbed some as well
The sad thing was we were caught in a long queue
After paid off, we took the MRT North-East line back home

Kuchingites are always walking as once
No matter where we go and where we are
It makes us unique

出国深造是件好事

待会儿都忘了自己的根在什么地方
有些人爱出国，有的人爱家乡
是爱上灰色森林的都市，还是对慢步伐的市镇情有独钟
差别在于人们的要求
离假期还有一个多月的距离
有一股想回家的冲动
回想起那夜深的宵夜
在咖啡店忘怀地畅谈
再回忆那口齿留香的干捞面
这是生活另一种别具的体验
在新国
他们却诠释为活化石的生活
在都市与家乡中
曾何几时努力寻求那之中的平衡
或许
都市是家乡
家乡是都市
这是答案
也是种遐想
然而在腐败的领导层下
只能自己突破重围到异乡圆梦
这是一种感慨
而都市与家乡却是两种相思
